About Everyone Dies In Utah:

Teetering between breakneck brutality and elegant, entrancing melody, the Temple, TX Everyone Dies In Utah, formed in 2008, consisting of Danny Martinez (Vocals, Keys, Synth), Keaton Smith (guitar), Trey Golden (Keys, Synth), Brandon Stoltz (guitar), Nathan Chase-Meadows (drums) and Nolan Bailey (Bass). The name of the band began as a joke, but stuck with them as time went on. It derives from the fact that the death rate in Utah was at one time higher than any other state.

So far, Everyone Dies In Utah has continually connected on a deep level with its passionate fan base. Since hitting the scene, they’ve attracted a rabid audience over the course of their self-released EP, I Hope You Realize This Means War in 2009 and the two full-length albums Seeing Clearly and +//- (Polarities). They’ve also toured tirelessly with bands such as Affiance, Sirens and Sailors, Bleach Blonde, The Overseer and more. The band knows that it is very important to be accessible to their fans and do not plan on getting off the road any time soon.

In order to bring their singular vision to life on the new full-length album Neutral Ground, Everyone Dies In Utah enlisted platinum producer Jim Wirt (Incubus, A Skylit Drive, Letter Kills) to steer the wheel. Wirt pushed the band to levels that they themselves didn’t even know they were capable of. Together, the band and Wirt created an album with an impressive balance of dreadful somber lows and blazing, kick you in the face highs. Lyrically, the album stands as their best work yet, touching on many relatable issues.

“I wanted to hit stronger messages on this album instead of doing a whole concept behind it,” says vocalist Danny Martinez. ” I decided to write full songs that would hit certain people at home. Like one song is about being judged and coming together to be bigger than the people that try to push you around. There’s a song that’s about wanting to become better than you are and how you are going to have to go out and do something about it to make it happen. Then, there’s a couple I wrote about heartbreak, as well.”

Neutral Ground is available via Tragic Hero Records.

ABOUT NEVADA ROSE:
When you blend pulsating electronic dance hooks seamlessly with elements of hardcore, metal, and pop you’ll have yourself the album Paint Me In Light from the New Jersey band Nevada Rose. The record merges their influences of acts like Skrillex and Zomboy with hardcore bands such as The Devil Wears Prada and A Day To Remember, while allowing their pop sensibility to shine through using three part harmonies and radio worthy melodies. Capitalizing on these elements, the group, which is comprised of Nicki Imperato (vocals), Justin DiMarco (vocals, guitar), Adam Ellenberger (guitar, programming), Kyle Cleffi (drums, programming), and Mike Batchelder (bass), are able to shorten the gap between EDM, pop, and hardcore music. This is never more apparent than on their first single Anchors For Sunsets, a song that boasts lines like “If only we were waves, forget the ocean, pushing forward onto better days.”

Paint Me In Light was produced by Andrew Wade (A Day To Remember, The Word Alive, Motionless in White) and during the process they knew that they had something special with this album “We wrote this record with the intention of giving each track its own individual feel,” says DiMarco. “No two songs came together the same way. The band will bring an idea to the table and songs would complete themselves by experimenting with electronics, guitar layers, and vocal patterns.” As far as the lyrical aspect of the album, most of the foundation was laid by Imperato and then each band member contributed from their life experiences, personal struggles, relationships and the pursuit of personal goals and dreams

Nevada Rose has quickly gained a following after debuting at the 2013 CMJ Music Festival with He Is Legend. After being a band for less than a year they signed a deal with Tragic Hero Records (A Skylit Drive, ERRA) who will release the full-length Paint Me In Light in 2014. “We are very excited and proud to become part of the Tragic Hero family,” says DiMarco. “We put our hearts and souls into making this album and can’t wait to release our music through this great label. When we heard that Tragic Hero was interested in signing us, we were absolutely thrilled.” This was quite an achievement for such a young band and it shows that if you work hard and write really great songs, then the rest will follow.

He Is Legend Release New Lyric Video

(Wilmington, NC) – Last month Tragic Hero Records announced a contest where fans could create a lyric video for the new He Is Legend single “Something Witchy,” with one winner being chosen as the official lyric video for the song.

After much deliberation it came down to two entries. Tragic then left it up to He Is Legend fans to vote on the winner which resulted in the entry from Daniel Lofthouse being crowned the official lyric video. Lofthouse had this to say, “Thank you so much, it’s amazing! Just to be given the opportunity to be involved with a band that I’ve loved for years is something I never thought possible. In terms of making the video, for me it was just a case of capturing that ethereal psychedelic tone imbued in He Is Legend’s music. Thanks again for even running this competition. It’s been hard work, but it was more than worth it!”

Something Witchy” is available via iTunes on, but for a limited time you can purchase it through the Tragic Hero Records website. The song is also part of an exclusive bundle that includes an MP3 of the song, a t-shirt, and poster.

About He Is Legend:
He Is Legend’s current line up of Schuylar Croom (vocals), Adam Tanbouz (guitar), Matt Williams (bass), and Sam Huff (drums) signed to Tragic Hero Records in 2009 to release It Hates You, which charted on the Billboard Top 200. The full-length was produced by ex-Filter guitarist Mitchell Marlow and Allen Jacob at Warrior Sound in Chapel Hill, NC, with additional production by Kit Walters. They have toured extensively in the United States and Europe with acts like Norma Jean, Atreyu, Chimaira, Dragonforce, and Killswitch Engage. In 2014, they released their new single “Something Witchy” which will be on the forthcoming full-length album.

About Strawberry Girls:
When an eclectic group of individuals comes together with an idea to create something fresh, the results can often be outstanding. Such is the case with the experimental rock trio Strawberry Girls. These guys from California (who could even make noise sound groovy) were founded by ex-Dance Gavin Dance guitarist Zachary Garren after he crossed paths with drummer Ben Rossett and bassist Ian Jennings. Although the band has worked with guest vocalists, they have remained an instrumental three piece. The album French Ghetto includes vocal appearances by Kurt Travis (A Lot Like Birds, ex Dance Gavin Dance), Nic Newsham (Gatsbys American Dream), Shane Smit, Kathleen Mae, and Gavin Mulkey. “Our sound was originally built from a desire to practice and play as much as possible, without being restricted by the schedules of many different band members,” says Garren. However, what originally began as an invention out of necessity, became much more than that. Strawberry Girls take a simplistic, yet sometimes technical approach to songwriting by mending parts together that get stuck in your head and compel you to listen to them over and over again.
