April 15th is ‘Day of Wrath’ for Pathways
Band Releases Tragic Hero Records Debut EP “Dies Irae”
Floridian metal band, Pathways, is ready to make your ears feel the wrath with the release of their Tragic Hero Records debut “Dies Irae”. The EP is a concept album surrounding the four horsemen of the apocalypse showcasing themes of war, death, famine and conquest. “Dies Irae” is heavily influenced by classical music which shows through on each track.
Pathways is extremely proud of the hard work that went into the album and excited about the future, especially with their new home at Tragic Hero. Guitarist Jon Rose shared, “Dies Irae” was a long collaborated effort from each member of the band, and to see it finally be brought to life and showcased in the proper way, makes us feel completely ecstatic. We couldn’t ask for a better label to be displaying our hard work. The day of the release will mark an important day in Pathways history!”
“Dies Irae” is an extended EP that includes a bonus instrumental version of every track. The band wanted to include the extra tracks for fans because as Rose explained, “you can truly hear all the subtle details within the music and how the songs were originally written.”
