“Stillworld” Burns Up Billboard Charts
Invent, Animate has remarkable first week for sophomore album
Texas metalcore band, Invent Animate released their highly anticipated sophomore album “Stillworld” on July 8th and in it’s first week of release had an impressive showing on the charts.  Their new record entered numerous Billboard Charts including the #1 spot on the New Artist Chart. Additional positions included; #3 Hard Music Album, #4 Independent Album, #11 Rock Album, #30 Top Current Album and #133 Billboard Top 200. The album’s strong presence solidifies that Invent, Animate is rising to a place among the heavy hitters in the metal world.
Tragic Hero Records label president, Tommy LaCombe sees something special in this band and couldn’t be more proud of the group’s latest effort, “I’m honored and excited to help Invent, Animate share “Stillworld” with everyone. There is a very bright future for the band and this is just the beginning.”
“Stillworld” is available at all major digital outlets and physical copies at Merchbucket.
About Invent, Animate
Creating an idea and bringing it to life is what inspired the progressive metalcore band Invent, Animate to pursue their passion for spreading positive messages through their music. The group was formed on the cloudy Christmas Eve of 2011 in a small town east of Houston called Port Neches, Texas. Ben English (vocals), Keaton Goldwire (guitar), Caleb Sherraden (bass), and Trey Celaya (drums) came together through their mutual love of bands like Deftones, Underoath, and Norma Jean. They are heavily influenced by what these bands have to say and the way they carry themselves as musicians.
Invent, Animate is a highly energetic band that puts an unsullied look on the metalcore market. Their work is multi-dimensional and shows their ability to be very dynamic. Never fearful to be chaotic and crazy one minute, but then decelerate and bring a softer, more beautiful aspect the next. The band has shared the stage with Oh, Sleeper, Of Mice & Men, Architects, Texas In July, ERRA and many more. They have also played the South By So What?! Festival.
Invent, Animate signed with Tragic Hero Records and released their debut full-length “Everchanger” in 2014. “It’s still so surreal to me,” says English. “Growing up, some of my favorite bands were a part of Tragic Hero, and I’m super excited to be a part of the family.”
The first single, ‘Celestial Floods’ off the band’s highly anticipated sophomore album “Stillworld” (July 8) shows the world what is next for Invent, Animate. English explains, “when we were all deciding what we wanted the world to hear first from “Stillworld”, it was an incredibly difficult process, but after much thought and consideration we were all happy with our choice in ‘Celestial Floods’. We think it really shows off some of the wild dynamics the album has in store, and really starts to dig into the emotion that’s portrayed throughout the record. Thrilled to have this one out, but it’s absolutely just the beginning of a whole new chapter.”
“Stillworld” was released July 8th and Invent, Animate hits the road on the Happiness in Self Destruction tour with The Plot In You, ERRA and Sylar in support of the record.

Avant Garde Premieres Debut Single Former A Skylit Drive Members Cory and Joey Present New Project

Cory LaQuay and Joey Wilson have played music together for years as band-mates in A Skylit Drive. Both went their separate ways from ASD, but have reconnected to make music again with their new project, Avant Garde.
Curiosity has surrounded the duo as to whether or not their sound will be similar to what they’ve done in the past. Their debut single, “I’m 100% Sure We Are Not Completely Sure”, is just a sneak peak of what the record holds, as every song is unique and will leave listeners wondering where the music will go next. LaQuay explains, “We are super stoked to finally release a song off of our brand new record! We’ve been working on this project for awhile, and have been anticipating this for months, and now it’s time to get it out there for you all to hear! Every song has it’s own kinda style so don’t expect the whole album to sound like this!”
Avant Garde couldn’t be more appreciative for their long time fans who have stuck by them and for all the new fans that will experience their music, “It’s awesome you’re taking the time to check out our new project. I had so much fun writing and recording this music and working with Cory again!” said Wilson.
“Fire Walk With Me” was recorded at Gold Standard Studios and was mixed/mastered by Jim Stewart (Jim Stewart Recording). The record will be out August 5th worldwide on Tragic Hero Records and is available now for pre-order at Merchbucket.
About Avant Garde
Cory LaQuay and Joey Wilson got their whirlwind start in music in the post hardcore band, A Skylit Drive. Both LaQuay and Wilson were original members and there since the beginning with the band’s first release, an the EP titled “She Watched The Sky” (2007). Together they went on to record 3 full lengths with the band, “Wires and The Concept of Breathing” (2008), “Adelphia” (2009) and “Identity on Fire” (2011).
2012 brought the departure of Wilson after the band finished up their run on the All Stars Tour. As they prepared for their show in the Philippines, Wilson decided it was time to move on and get his personal life together.
LaQuay continued on with the band as the drummer and was involved in the 2013 release “Rise”.  After being the drummer for ASD for 7 years, he decided that the band wasn’t a project he wanted to be a part of anymore and announced he would leave the band.
Staying friends over the years and both sharing a passion for music, Wilson and LaQuay decided it was time to get together and start a new project and that became Avant Garde. In addition to writing the songs together, LaQuay is singing and Wilson is playing guitar.
The duo’s debut album, “Fire Walk With Me” will be released in August 2016 and will be unlike anything fans have heard in the past

About Vesuvius
Hailing from Ottawa, ON., Vesuvius brings forth an identity that cannot be disclosed within one particular genre of music. Since their formation in early 2015, the band began working on a blueprint that encompasses a vast expanse of musical influences and intends on defying the millennial archetype of what the youth of today deem to be a rock or metal act.
Unlike the majority of bands playing in their scene today, Vesuvius is a composition of organic means. Ben Cooligan (vocals), Billy Melsness (vocals), Robin Parsons (synth/turntables), Michael Luc Malo (guitars) and Carter Peak (percussion) came together as five friends with a unanimous goal to transform what was once a hobby into a labour of love and passion. Their quintet dynamic allows for them to translate an incredibly emotive craft into an energetic and wholly entertaining live performance from beginning until completion.
Their first full length album, “My Place of Solace and Rest” (tracks 1-4 engineered/mixed/mastered by Frank Shooflar , tracks 5-8 mixed/mastered by Shooflar and engineered by Doug Meadows) was an integral component of how the band caught the eye of Tragic Hero Records.  “We have personal friends who have partnered with Tragic Hero Records and swear by the company. We wanted to make sure to work with a label that cares about their artists’ creative integrity, making Tragic the most suitable route to take” Melsness said.
“My Place of Solace and Rest” will be the debut of what the band trademarks as the “Vesuvius sound”. Cooligan describes it as “a theme implemented throughout the music that refers to the structure of each piece the two have put together. Each song is structured with an “emotional crux” often sitting in the middle of the piece. Throughout the build and break of the tracks, each piece ebbs and flows in order to create the greatest impact when it reaches its climax.”
“My Place of Solace and Rest” was released on May 6th and hit #78 on the Billboard New Artist Chart.
