The Northern Packs Their Bags

Band announces Summer tour
The Northern has received a tremendous reaction to their Tragic Hero Records label debut album, “Solstice.” The band looks forward to playing the songs live as they hit the road on the “Summer Solstice Tour” that kicks off in August.
While members of the band have toured in the past, this tour will be the first run for them collectively. Featuring another Canadian band, The Parallel. The Northern Guitarist Eric Leblanc shared, “We are looking forward to hitting the road with our close friends in The Parallel and cannot wait to bring a great live show to everyone that has been supporting Solstice since its release. We are very excited to see some old friends and make a lot of new ones.”
The Northern is an innovative blend of metalcore and djent along with clean vocals that are often times reminiscent of ERRA vocalist, Jesse Cash. It is the band’s diverse influences that mesh together perfectly to create a sound that is all their own.
‘Solstice’ is out now and can be picked up at Merchbucket.
